How to buy cheaper plane tickets
Ticket prices change all the time, depending on demand. People who compare, stay flexible and buy at the right moment usually pay much less.
Find a cheap flight
Domestic flights to 35 Brazilian airports and international flights to 41 destinations worldwide, departing from Brazil. Choose your trip and compare prices on the search engines. Voe Informado does not sell tickets: the buttons open the search, already filled in, on the chosen site in a new tab.
Calculated from distance and date, based on market averages. It is not the selling price: check the real fare on the search engines above.
Estimate for each departure day, keeping the same trip length. Tap a day to choose that date.

When to buy
These are trends, not fixed rules. Deals can show up at any time.
Miles or cash?
Compare the cash price with the real cost of the miles. The values below are an example; replace them with the ones from your search.
The cost per thousand miles is what you would spend to buy or earn 1,000 miles, for example by buying them with a bonus.
Compare on search engines
Sites like Google Flights ↗, Skyscanner ↗ and Kayak ↗ show several airlines at once. Then check the price directly on the airline's website.
Set up price alerts
Search engines email you when the price on a route drops, so you don't need to search every day.
Use the price calendar
Moving your trip by a day or two can make it much cheaper. The calendar or whole-month view shows the cheapest day.
Consider other airports
In São Paulo, compare Guarulhos, Congonhas and Viracopos. In Rio, Galeão and Santos Dumont. Sometimes the difference pays for the transfer.
Fly at less popular times
Red-eye, very early or midday flights usually cost less than late-afternoon ones.
Work out the final price
The basic fare, without a checked bag, looks cheap. If you'll check a bag or choose a seat, add it all up before comparing.
Separate one-way tickets
Compare the round-trip ticket with two separate one-way flights, even on different airlines. The package isn't always cheaper.
Earn points every day
Credit cards and airline loyalty programs earn points. Watch for transfer bonuses, which multiply your miles.
Keep an eye on sales
Sign up for newsletters and follow the airlines on social media. Black Friday, on November 27, 2026, usually brings good deals.
Use the 24-hour cancellation window
In Brazil, if you bought at least 7 days before the flight, you can cancel at no cost within 24 hours. You can lock in a good price and think it over calmly.
Don't lose your return flight
On domestic flights, if you won't use the outbound leg, tell the airline before departure time to keep your return ticket.
Incognito mode doesn't work miracles
Prices change mainly with demand and the seats left. Searching in an incognito tab rarely makes a difference.
Watch out for scams
- Be suspicious of prices far below normal.
- Never pay by Pix to an individual who “sells miles” on social media.
- Buy on the airline's official website or from well-known agencies.
- Check the website address before typing in your card details.
- After buying, look up the booking code on the airline's website.
- The airline will never ask for a password or confirmation code over WhatsApp.
