About Voe Informado

An aviation guide in plain language, for people who are about to fly and want to understand what happens up there, with no jargon.

What it is

Voe Informado is an independent project by Paulo Vasques, an aviation enthusiast from Brazil. It brings together, in one place, what helps people who are about to fly: how a plane flies, why flying is so safe, how to pay less for a ticket, what can go in your bag and what the airline owes you if your flight is delayed or canceled.

The site was written in Portuguese, for travelers in Brazil, and translated into English and Spanish. That's why the rules on passenger rights, baggage and documents are Brazil's rules. Start with the list of topics or go straight to what you need, such as passenger rights or cheap flights.

Where the information comes from

  • Passenger rights and baggage rules: based on the resolutions of ANAC, Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency, with links to the official pages.
  • Aircraft: approximate figures, based on data published by the manufacturers. They vary with each airline's version and configuration.
  • Live flights: the Departures and Arrivals buttons open Flightradar24, which shows real-time schedules.
  • Price estimates: calculated by the site itself from the distance and the time of year. They give you an idea; they are not the selling price.

The content was reviewed in November 2026. Rules change: before you travel, confirm the details of your flight with the airline.

Independent

Voe Informado does not sell tickets and has no ties to airlines, airports, flight search engines or ANAC. The links to Google Flights, Skyscanner, Kayak, LATAM, GOL and Azul go straight to their websites, with no affiliate code.

My simulator flights

The videos on the Simulator page are of flights made by Paulo Vasques in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. They are a hobby and don't show the real procedures of any airline.
